Hiring Range: $71,427.20-$92,851.20
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
• Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.
Complexity of Work:
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the New York Board of Physical Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
