Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Days
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
Hiring range: $18.74- $25.07
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
- Implement activities program for groups or individuals
- Organize and obtain supplies and equipment needed
- Must be comfortable assisting or directing activities
- Ability to construct and provide visual examples of activities
- Assists registrants with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport
- Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Assures registrant’s safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.
- Assist with care with proper instruction and supervision.
- Assist with record keeping of registrant activity.
- Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assists registrants with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education, Training & Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire date
Certifications / Licensure:
- Current Nurse Aide Credential from NYS DOH
