Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: Days

Hours Per Week:  40-hour/week

Hiring Range: $19.38 -$25.20

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:

  • May draw and collect blood samples according to Receive, centrifuge, accession, process and transport specimens. Verifies all related records.
  • Works pending lists, orders add-on tests, and resolves duplicate
  • Sets up Maintains, cleans, and sterilizes equipment and work area following safety, cleanliness, and infection control procedures.
  • Performs clerical duties which may include answering phones, reviewing EKGs, collecting patient demographic data for patient registration, ordering tests, ABNs, data entry and filing.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED. Phlebotomy certification strongly preferred

Experience:   

  •  Minimum of three (3) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
