Business Applications Manager

We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Business Application Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be key in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our clinical and operational processes through the management of our Electronic Health Record and other systems.
Position Summary:
The Business Application Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and launching efficient business systems that support both the organizational and clinical processes of the agency. This position plays a crucial role in improving and enhancing our EHR systems, ensuring they meet regulatory compliance and organizational goals. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including clinical staff, IT, and external vendors, to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system issues, while driving the successful implementation of new technologies and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Analysis & Improvement:
- Analyze current EHR system, identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements. Detect and resolve technical problems to ensure data integrity.
- Application Development & Management:
Assist in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements. Serve as the EHR system administrator, managing user accounts, security, and troubleshooting.
- Reporting & Documentation:
Generate standard and custom reports, create fillable forms to streamline agency processes, and document system procedures and requirements.Coordinate and deliver training for staff on EHR systems and other relevant technologies. Ensure a supportive environment for staff development.Collaborate with compliance and billing teams to ensure all systems meet HIPAA, Medicaid, and other regulatory requirements. Ensure ongoing adherence to agency standards.Lead multiple projects, driving change management activities and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Identify opportunities for cost reduction through system and process optimization.Work closely with decision-makers and end-users to define system requirements. Facilitate discussions to develop and enhance business applications, while fostering positive communication across teams.Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience is also considered.
- Experience:
A minimum of three years of experience in IT operations, systems analysis, or business application support, ideally in a healthcare setting.Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of EHR/EMR systems.
- Power BI system
- Familiarity with systems such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Credible/Qualifacts, and Eleos (or similar platforms).
- Experience in managing IT vendor relationships and supporting integrated systems.
- Strong project management skills.
