Nurse Manager- Nursing Home
Description: The Nurse Manager is the first line manager designated as the leader for a specified nursing unit, its resident population and the assigned staff. The Nurse Manager has 24-hour responsibility and accountability for all resident care activities taking into account the individual resident’s special physical or age-related needs.
Requires:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an associate’s degree or diploma.
- Prefer Bachelor of Science Nursing degree.
- Current NYS license for Registered Professional Nurse. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Two (2) years of medical/surgical experience or two (2) years of long-term care experience.
- Prefer two (2) years of Nursing management experience in a skilled nursing facility.
Status: 6:45am – 3:15pm (40 hours)
Rate of Pay: $36.78 – $X /hour
