Distinguishing Features of the Class: This is an appointed position under the supervision of District Attorny. No supervision is exercised in this position. 

Residency Requirement: Applicant must be legal resident of New York State.

Minimum Qualification:
Admission to the Bar in New York State. Applicants must provide verification of their Admission to the Bar in New York State and provide a current Certificate of Good Standing from the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division. An employee, is required to maintain the certificate of good standing for the duration of his or her career.

Possession of a valid NYS driver's license is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained during employment.
