Patient Care Technician

Description: The Patient Care Technician provides basic nursing care to patients, transports patients within the hospital and monitors a safe and clean environment.  The Patient Care Technician provides clerical support, including order entry as the patient care and patient flow requires.   Work is performed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in accordance with established hospital standards, nursing department structure and standards, established regulatory and accreditation requirements and the individual patient's special or age related needs
