Broadalbin-Perth Central School District is accepting applications for two full-time Food Service Workers for the upcoming 2026-2027 School year. This is a 10-month position starting at $17.19 per hour. The successful candidate will support daily cafeteria operations and help provide nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

About the Position:

Food Service Workers assist in the preparation and serving of meals, maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Responsibilities may include food prep, portioning and serving meals, operating kitchen equipment, washing dishes, and restocking supplies.

This is a full-time, school-year position, with hours scheduled during the school day. Occasional additional hours may be required for special events or programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Prior experience in food service or a school cafeteria setting is preferred but not required.

Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting 40 lbs or more, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Dependability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
