POSITION SUMMARY:
The Custodial Technician is to maintain day-to-day cleanliness in the Health and Wellness Center, Early Learning Center, and various spaces of the Fulton County YMCA.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Empty trash and refill liners.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, sauna and steam room.
- Clean and maintain the Wellness Floor, Gymnasium, Community room, Pool shower, pool deck, lifeguard room and other spaces as needed.
- Restock supplies in bathrooms, showers, and Wellness Floor
- Clean inside windows and mirrors, as needed as well as outside windows.
- Maintain an inventory of all supplies.
- Ensure proper labeling and dilution of all chemicals.
- Always wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (gloves, etc.).
- Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent strongly preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred
- 1-2 years of experience with wood and tile floor maintenance (i.e. wax, shine, strip)
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products
- Exceptional customer relations focused attitude
- Strong focus on critical problem solving
- Willingness to work in a team-centric environment

Position 1: 8:30 am to 1:30 pm Monday – Friday
Position 2: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm Monday – Friday
Position 3: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sunday
Position 4: 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm Monday - Friday
