Transportation Supervisor

Reports To: Procurement and Transportation Manager

Physical Requirements: Heavy lifting, pushing, bending, reaching, standing and sitting for prolonged periods.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, 6am - 3pm Monday - Friday. Weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay Range: The pay range is $18.95 to $26.40

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain a Class C CDL license.
• Must meet DOT 19A qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the transportation field.
• Minimum of 1year supervisory experience.
• Qualified as a Certified Examiner by DOT, or the ability to become qualified.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide input for route restructure for efficiency.
• Total vehicle mileage sheets weekly and input on computer.
• Total attendance sheets weekly and submit to Business Office for review.
• Maintain vehicle books on a monthly basis -Mileage and EDS books.
• Assist with garage work orders; coordinate FSS vehicles to garage per schedule.
• Monitor fuel dispensing system and provide reports to the business office.
• Coordinate vehicle dispatch and transfers, tow truck service calls
• Provide supervision for transportation bus drivers.
• Complete department payroll.
