Inventory Clerk- Full Time

The Inventory Clerk is responsible to ensure that all RV inventory is closely inspected and properly tagged to be accounted for in the company’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) and accounting systems.

Pay Range: $15-$18 per hour

Job Duties:

  • Conduct a detailed inspection of all new inventory coming into the dealership and make written documentation of any damage, structural issues, scratches, missing parts or other issues to ensure proper manufacturer accountability
  • Label all new and used inventory with the appropriate inventory tag to match accounting documentation and company paperwork.
  • Notify management of any major issues with all new or used inventory upon visual inspection
  • Attach all company related or other required decals and identification tags to each RV as it comes into the dealership
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of inventory arriving at the dealership, so it is properly accounted for in the CRM system.
  • Build inventory in the system for all RV and boat products, to ensure accurate cost and retail information
  • Process all purchase orders and review required written documentation for accuracy on all new inventory ordered by management
  • Build a file folder for all incoming product, including initial security of all inventory keys and tags
  • Take high quality, professional looking photographs of every RV in inventory and post on the company website 
  • Record and report description of any damage discovered to units immediately
  • Conduct errand runs for dealership as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Experience operating a camera, and posting pictures or data to a website
  • At least one year of experience in a clerical or administrative position preferred
  • Capable of operating a golf cart

Physical and Environmental Conditions:

  • Talking and hearing, walking and sitting, using hands to grasp, pushing, pulling, climbing, crouching, and reaching with arms/hands, are required.
  • Ability to frequently walk up and down steps to move in and out of RV’s.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, and up to 15 pounds frequently, to move objects.
  • Frequent exposure to outside environmental conditions; work is usually performed outside in all types of weather.
