Packaging Associate
Euphrates – Packaging NY1511638 (Johnstown, NY)
General Information:
•$15.00 hourly, full-time.
•Tote emptying: Responsible for siphoning brine from the totes, taking the bag out of the tote and disposing of it and then you send the tote to the tote washer.
•Loading it onto the door and starting the cleaning operation.
•Labeler: Responsible for affixing the proper label to the appropriate size container.
•You will be working closely with the packaging lead operators to know which orders are to be done and the order of which they need to be.
•Packer: Responsible for placing the correct amount of cheese in the package and weighing it before sending it down the conveyor.
•Verifying to ensure that the order matches what the customer wants.
Qualifications:
•Must be able to lift 30-60 lbs and push/pull at least 100 lbs.
•Must be able to be on your feet for 10 plus hours.
•Must be able to work in a hot/humid environment.
•Must be able to work in an environment that is 55 degrees and wet due to the cheese brine.
