Quality Manager

Position Overview: The ideal candidate will ensure that our products meet or exceed quality standards and meet regulatory requirements. You will be critical in identifying and resolving quality issues, implementing quality improvement processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability and performance, providing leadership to QC Inspection staff.

Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 1st Shift, 7-3:30pm
Payroll Day:  Paid Weekly on Thursdays
FLSA:  Paid on a Salary Basis
Annual Salary:  $70,000 - $85,000
Time Off:  Generous Package
Benefits:  Eligible 1st of the Month Following Date of Hire

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and manage Quality Inspection staff
  • Oversee daily workflow and scheduling for the quality department
Quality Assurance & Process Improvement:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Identify and document quality issues, working proactively to resolve them
  • Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement

Compliance, Standards, and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions
  • Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to management
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and other industry regulations
Requirements for the QA Manager - Manufacturing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role within a machine shop or contract manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and experience in an ISO-regulated environment
  • Proficiency in quality management systems, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Experience with quality measurement tools and software
  • Blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) knowledge
  • Strong familiarity with various metals and material characteristics
