Licensed Insurance Agent
Immediate full time position available for an experienced applicant with a current Property and Casualty License. Primary location at our Fort Plain office Monday - Friday 8:30-5pm.
Responsibilities include:
- Discussing coverage needs with current and potential clients
- Preparing and presenting insurance quotes for new clients and remarketing policies for existing clients as necessary
- Processing documents associated with new and existing policies
- Reporting new claims and following up on current claims to ensure client satisfaction
- Providing superior customer service while caring for a variety of insured needs
- Maintaining client records with accuracy and attention to detail
Skills and Qualifications:
- Current New York State Property and Casualty License
- Basic office and computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
- Ability to uphold confidentiality
- Exceptional integrity and character
- Excellent time management, organization, and punctuality
- Ability to work well as part of team in a fast paced environment
