Rn Supervisor

River Ridge Living Center is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility.  Our focus is to serve the residents in our community.

At River Ridge Living Center, we are committed to providing a supportive work environment for our staff. We are now recruiting for a Registered Nurse  (RN) Supervisor to join our Team.     

Available Hours: 2:00 pm-10:00pm

The ideal RN supervisor must be a responsible, well-trained professional who can provide the best nursing care and supervise staff. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote a patient’s well-being by providing high-quality nursing care.

Job Summary

Supervisor staffing is assigned to the shift and will have input on staff reviews. Make rounds on all units. Review reports with the charge nurse and check on residents listed on the report.

• Check on new residents admitted to a facility

• Ensure that resident comfort and safety is being maintained

• Ensure that resident dignity and privacy are being attended to

• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

• Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants.

• Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences, etc.

 Qualifications:

• Must have a valid RN license for NYS

• Must have excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures

• Excellent knowledge of emergency care

• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to always follow them

• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Responsible and compassionate

• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills required
