Duties:
Including but not limited to
- Provide clinical services as a NYS licensed OTA under physician’s order.
- Attends and participates in all IDT meetings
- Provides education to patients/residents and their families
- Assists Occupational Therapists
- Adheres to all policies and procedures of the facility and NYS
- Current New York State Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure—new graduates are encouraged to apply
- NBCOT certification
- Responsible, caring, and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant who enjoys helping patients and making a great impact in their personal development
- Effective and engaging verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to comfortably interact with people of diverse backgrounds
