School Bus Aides
About Us:
We’re a family-owned bus company that’s been part of the community for years. Our team isn’t just about buses—we care deeply about the kids we transport and the families we serve. As a School Bus Monitor, you’ll be an important part of that mission, helping us keep students safe, comfortable, and cared for on their way to and from school.
What You’ll Do:
- Ride along on school bus routes to help make sure students are safe and secure.
- Lend a hand to children as they get on and off the bus
- Keep an eye on things inside the bus so the driver can focus on the road.
- Gently remind students of bus rules and encourage respectful, safe behavior.
- Be ready to step in and help during unexpected situations or emergencies.
- Create a welcoming, friendly environment that makes kids (and parents) feel at ease.
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone who enjoys working with children and has patience and a caring attitude.
- A reliable person who shows up on time and can be counted on by both the kids and the driver.
- Good communication skills and a team player mindset.
- Prior experience with children (as a parent, caregiver, volunteer, etc.) is a plus, but not required.
- Must meet state/local requirements for school bus monitors and pass a background check.
Schedule:
- Part-time, Monday through Friday during the school year.
- Morning and afternoon shifts, leaving the middle of the day free.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us:
We’re not a big corporation—we’re a family company, and we treat our employees like part of the family too. You’ll be joining a team that truly values safety, kindness, and community. If you care about kids and want a job that makes a difference, this could be a great fit.
- Competitive Pay Structure, starting around $17 per hour
