Simply Yoga By Colleen at Purple Glass Healing Arts
These classes are wellness-based, staying true to the tradition of Viniyoga. Class instruction is focused on using movement and breath to reduce muscle tension and stress, while strengthening weaknesses, bringing both balance and self-awareness to the participant. Individual modifications will be made as needed for participants in each class.
Release Your Fear of the Water with Fulton County YMCA
Release Your Fear of the Water is a supportive, small-group swim experience designed for adults who feel nervous, anxious, or uncomfortable in the water. Through gentle, step-by-step guidance, participants begin with the foundations of water acclimation?learning to breathe, float, and move with greater ease and confidence. This program focuses on building trust in your body, understanding buoyancy, and developing essential water safety skills in a calm, judgment-free environment. Whether you?re brand new or returning after years away, this is a space to move at your own pace and begin feeling safe in the water.
Senior Strength Spring at Fulton County YMCA
Senior only weight training program. Geared to help seniors gain confidence and knowledge of weightlifting. They will complete an 8-week weightlifting program led by our Certified Senior Fitness Specialist Isaiah.
Adult and Child CPR/AED Certification with Lauren Repholz at Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts
A course on the American Heart Association's protocols for performing CPR and using an AED. Following the American Heart Association?s latest guidelines, instructor Lauren Repholz will guide students through recognizing the signs of cardiac arrest, performing effective CPR on adults and children, and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Through hands‑on practice and clear instruction, students will gain the confidence to respond quickly and safely in an emergency. Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will receive an official certificate of proficiency. *Members receive a 20% discount. Themed Story Time at Gloversville Public Library
Join us for our traditional Story Time, which will explore a different theme each session, with an accompanying activity or craft. **Children under age 7 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver**
Fit Kids - Spring at Fulton County YMCA
Is geared towards helping kids get active, burn calories and gain confidence through games that promote physical activity. Ages 6-9. Fit kids will be held in the Group Exercise room.
Golf Teen 12-17 at Fulton County YMCA
Come have fun and learn golf in a supportive and welcoming environment! Golf is a great way to introduce kids and adults to the world of sports while building focus, coordination, and confidence. With an emphasis on skill development, sportsmanship, and having a blast, all will enjoy learning the fundamentals of the game. All skill levels are welcome!

Meet the Artists Opening Reception at Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts
The Nigra Arts Center?s 11th annual New York State Summer Art Show is on display now for public viewing! This beautiful exhibition features over 120 pieces in a variety of media by more than 60 artists who come from all over New York. The people, places, animals and creativity that make our home state such a wonderful place to live are all highlighted in this diverse collection of paintings, drawings, photographs, 3D works and more! The show will be on display until July 16. All are invited to the Meet the Artists Opening Reception on Thursday, May 28, 4-7 p.m., where some of the featured artists will be in attendance and awards will be announced. The reception is free to attend ? we hope you will join us!
