Community Art Project: Carnegie Arch Mosaic with Gloversville Public Library
Drop in to pick up a 4'' x 10'' tile of our community mosaic! Each participant will get one tile to embellish as they wish. The tiles will be assembled into the final mosaic and displayed in the library. Supplies will be provided during drop in hours for participants to work on their tile. Limited squares available. All participants must return their tile by end of business day on March 14th. Mosaic displayed on April 1st.

All Fish measured at ?Wally?s Driftwood Park, Vandenberg Point Road, Mayfield. Measuring station will be open from 7AM -4PM Sat & Sun. Prizes will be given at ?FUEL & FOOD? after 4PM on Sunday. Power Auger and other Prizes will be drawn after cash payouts. No Need to be present to win Power Auger. In case of a tie, first and second place will be added together and divided between the winners! Community Swim at Greater Johnstown School District
Community Swim Program: Program Starts: Saturday, December 6 Program Ends: TBD Location: Johnstown High School (1 Sir Bill Circle, Johnstown, NY 12095) Days: Saturdays Time: 9:00 ? 11:00 A.M. ? Use the back entrance of JHS by the pool/bus loop and sign in with a school attendant ? The program will not run when school is not in session or if campus is closed due to inclement weather ? Swim program will not operate on the following Saturdays: December 20 & December 27 ? Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Toddlers and younger must wear swimming diapers in the pool. You are allowed to bring in your own swimming aides (swimmies and other devices that are intended to help you stay afloat and swim). Kick off the ❄️ 2026 Winter Carnival 🎪 at noon and warm up anytime during the event. ⛸️ Ice Skating ? Our new rink is waiting for it's time to shine! Note: Please plan to bring your own equipment for ice skating. 🛷 Sledding Hill ? Who doesn't like sledding down a big pile of snow!?! We will have a handful of donated sleds but feel free to bring your own if you have them. 🎯 Outdoor Games ? Show us your aim with Snowball-Can-Smash and Garbage-Pail-Pong ? just to name a few! ⛄️ Snow Sculpture Gardens ? Come down early and build a snow sculpture ? this tradition started over 50 years ago and we?re bringing it back!
