Gentle Yoga Moves Online
Experience the benefits of increased balance, flexibility, and muscle strength. Gentle Yoga combines simple breathing exercises with stretches and yoga postures (asanas), that can be done seated, standing, or on the floor, with modifications as needed. Class ends with a guided deep relaxation experience. Instructor: Leslie Snow Meets Mondays, June 29 ? August 31, 8:30?9:30am Space for all classes is limited, and registration is required. The Paul Nigra Center for Creative arts Presents it's 11th annual New York State summer Art Show, celebrating the work of artists from across New York. This exhibition includes over 120 pieces in a variety of media by more than 60 New York Artists.

Kindergarden Kickoff
GEF?s Courtney Wood will join us as we learn and play together, while exploring what every child needs to know as they start their school adventure: Foundational Literacy Concepts Early Math Concepts Social & Emotional Skills Yoga & Mindfulness Tools Snacks will be provided as the kids have fun, make friends, & get ready for Kindergarden! Free event for all where snacks are provided and students will get a free backpack with school supplies!
Stars and Stripes Sun-prints with Jake Willwerth at Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts
Create art with the sun! Cyanotypes, better known as sun-prints, are a type of print that uses chemicals and sunlight to create silhouetted images. Artists place shaped objects on specially treated paper or fabric and leave them in the sun to develop. After exposure, the image is developed in a bath of cold water to wash off excess chemicals, leaving behind impressions of the chosen objects. In this class, we will arrange star- and stripe-shaped objects to create abstract flag designs in honor of Independence Day and the nation?s 250th anniversary! *Center Members receive a 20% discount. Don't forget to enter the promotional code in the registration window! Please be aware that no refunds or exchanges will be issued for classes or events unless it is canceled by the Nigra Arts Center
Montgomery County Drive-Thru Food Distribution
Don't forget that about the Drive-Thru Food Distribution event at the D.H. Robbins Elementary School at 61 Monroe Street, St. Johnsville, NY 13452. This event begins at 10 a.m. until products run out. Montgomery County is partnering with the Regional Food Bank and Catholic Charities of Fulton and Montgomery Counties to put on this distribution. A special thank you to the Helping Hands Food Pantry for assisting to make this possible!
