These classes are wellness-based, staying true to the tradition of Viniyoga. Class instruction is focused on using movement and breath to reduce muscle tension and stress, while strengthening weaknesses, bringing both balance and self-awareness to the participant. Release Your Fear of the Water with Fulton County YMCA
Release Your Fear of the Water is a supportive, small-group swim experience designed for adults who feel nervous, anxious, or uncomfortable in the water. Through gentle, step-by-step guidance, participants begin with the foundations of water acclimation?learning to breathe, float, and move with greater ease and confidence. This program focuses on building trust in your body, understanding buoyancy, and developing essential water safety skills in a calm, judgment-free environment. Whether you?re brand new or returning after years away, this is a space to move at your own pace and begin feeling safe in the water.
Senior Strength Spring at Fulton County YMCA
Senior only weight training program. Geared to help seniors gain confidence and knowledge of weightlifting. They will complete an 8-week weightlifting program led by our Certified Senior Fitness Specialist Isaiah.
Themed Story Time at Gloversville Public Library
Join us for our traditional Story Time, which will explore a different theme each session, with an accompanying activity or craft. **Children under age 7 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver**

Meet the Artist: Stephanie Ruzycky at Micropolis Cooperative
Micropolis Cooperative Art Gallery will be holding its ''Meet the Artists Reception'' on Thursday, May 14, and will be a part of the Fulton-Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerces's ''Art in the Heart of Downtown Gloversville'' Art Walk. Photographer Stephanie Ruzycky will be the Micropolis guest artist. The Art Walk takes place from 2-6pm. Attendees are encouraged to begin their journey at the Chamber Rotunda, located at 2 N. Main Street, where they can pick up a passport card, then visit participating locations, enjoy a variety of artistic displays, and collect stamps along the way to be entered for a chance to win a special door prize. In addition to Micropolis, venues on the art walk are: Glove Cities Gallery, 52 Church Street The Glove Theatre Museum, 42 N. Main Street The Schine Gallery, 40 N. Is geared towards helping kids get active, burn calories and gain confidence through games that promote physical activity. Ages 6-9. Fit kids will be held in the Group Exercise room.
