INFORMATION SYSTEMS SPECIALIST
 
VACANCY:                          This is a new permanent position
 
SALARY:                              $27.86
 
RESIDENCY:                       Fulton County residency is required.
 
APPOINTMENT:                 A provisional appointment will be made of a candidate meeting the following minimum qualifications:
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school, possession of a high school equivalency diploma, or a high school individual education plan diploma and either:

1. Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer technology, management information systems, information technology or a closely related field; Or
2. Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate’s Degree in computer science, computer technology, management information systems, information technology or a closely related field and two years of experience responsible for network administration, computer systems management and programming, help support, etc.; Or

3. Four years of experience responsible for network administration, computer systems management and programming, help support, etc.; Or

4. An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B) and (C) above.
