About the Role
We are currently seeking a compassionate, student-centered Special Education Teacher to join our team at Broadalbin-Perth Central School District. This is a full-time, tenure-track position beginning September 2025.
In this role, you will support students with diverse learning needs in a structured setting focused on social-emotional growth, academic achievement, and building independence. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll help deliver personalized instruction and work closely with families, specialists, and general education teachers to ensure each student’s success.

What You Need

Valid New York State teaching certification in Students with Disabilities (Grades 7-12), or eligible by September 1, 2025

A deep commitment to equity, collaboration, and student-centered instruction

Experience with or willingness to learn trauma-informed practices and individualized behavior supports
