Hiring Range : $16.36-$21.27
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
- Greets patients and visitors, answers general inquiries, and schedules patients for appointments.
- Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls. Performs general clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, and mail distribution.
- Creates various reports and documents.
- Communicates with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care.
- Performs unit safety checks. Assists with meeting patient needs and escalates as appropriate.
- May enter and maintain timekeeping changes and staff schedules.
- May assist with stocking supplies and keeping unit and patient rooms clean and orderly.
Licensure / Certification / Registration: • Preferred Credential(s): • BLS Provider. Education: • High school diploma or GED required.
Complexity of Work:
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.
