Is geared towards helping kids get active, burn calories and gain confidence through games that promote physical activity. Ages 6-9. Fit kids will be held in the Group Exercise room.

Come have fun and learn golf in a supportive and welcoming environment! Golf is a great way to introduce kids and adults to the world of sports while building focus, coordination, and confidence. Home School PE K-12 at Fulton County YMCA
Jump in and get moving! This Homeschool PE program helps kids build fundamental movement skills, stay active, and gain confidence through fun games and activities. We focus on teamwork, coordination, and discovering new ways to move ? all while keeping things positive and engaging.
Release Your Fear of the Water
Release Your Fear of the Water is a supportive, small-group swim experience designed for adults who feel nervous, anxious, or uncomfortable in the water. Through gentle, step-by-step guidance, participants begin with the foundations of water acclimation?learning to breathe, float, and move with greater ease and confidence. This program focuses on building trust in your body, understanding buoyancy, and developing essential water safety skills in a calm, judgment-free environment. Whether you?re brand new or returning after years away, this is a space to move at your own pace and begin feeling safe in the water.
Senior Strength Spring at Fulton County YMCA
Senior only weight training program. Geared to help seniors gain confidence and knowledge of weightlifting. They will complete an 8-week weightlifting program led by our Certified Senior Fitness Specialist Isaiah.
Soccer 4-6 at Fulton County YMCA
Come have fun and learn soccer skills in a supportive and encouraging environment! Soccer is a fantastic way to introduce kids to the world of sports while building teamwork, coordination, and confidence. With a focus on skill development, sportsmanship, and having a blast, your child will thrive while learning the fundamentals of the game. All skill levels are welcome!
Stroke Development Stage 5 School Age (6-12) at Fulton County YMCA
Students in stage 5 work on stroke technique and learn all major competitive strokes. The emphasis on water safety continues through treading water and sidestroke.
Stroke Mechanics Stage 6 School Age (9-12)
In Stage 6: Stroke Mechanics, swimmers refine their technique across all major strokes while building endurance, efficiency, and confidence in deeper water. Students work on advanced skills such as flip turns, breaststroke and butterfly, and sustained swimming distances, while also strengthening resting strokes like sidestroke and elementary backstroke. This level goes beyond technique?swimmers develop real-world water safety and readiness through skills like treading water, diving, rescue breathing, CPR awareness, and understanding risks such as hypothermia and hypoxic blackout. By the end of the program, participants are stronger, more efficient swimmers with the skills and knowledge to stay safe and even begin exploring pathways like swim team, lifeguarding, or advanced aquatic activities
