2026 Winter Carnival with the City of Johnstown
Join us Saturday, March 7th at the Recreation Park on the corner of Briggs Street & Jansen Avenue for some LOCAL, FREE, WINTER FUN, right here in the City of Johnstown, New York! 🔥 Welcome Bonfire ? Kick off the ❄️ 2026 Winter Carnival 🎪 at noon and warm up anytime during the event. ⛸️ Ice Skating ? Our new rink is waiting for it's time to shine! Note: Please plan to bring your own equipment for ice skating. 🛷 Sledding Hill ? Who doesn't like sledding down a big pile of snow!?! We will have a handful of donated sleds but feel free to bring your own if you have them. 🎯 Outdoor Games ? Show us your aim with Snowball-Can-Smash and Garbage-Pail-Pong ? just to name a few! ⛄️ Snow Sculpture Gardens ? Come down early and build a snow sculpture ? this tradition started over 50 years ago and we?re bringing it back! We?re hoping for a nice upstate NY winter day with fresh snow ❄️, bluebird skies and lots of sunshine ☀️ ? Bring the family down or have the kids meet up with their friends and enjoy fresh air and good old? fashion FREE outdoor fun ? right here in the City of Johnstown, New York!
28th Annual Fuel-n-Food 2026 Weekend Long Fishing Contest - 2/3
2026 Contest Starts Friday March 6th at 4pm through to Sunday March 8th until 4pm $40 Entry Fee Fishing judged by length. All Fish measured at ?Wally?s Driftwood Park, Vandenberg Point Road, Mayfield. Measuring station will be open from 7AM -4PM Sat & Sun. Prizes will be given at ?FUEL & FOOD? after 4PM on Sunday. Power Auger and other Prizes will be drawn after cash payouts. No Need to be present to win Power Auger. In case of a tie, first and second place will be added together and divided between the winners! Annual Bowl-a-thon for Montgomery County SPCA hosted at Kelly's Imperial Bowling Center

This year?s event features an exciting Rock and Bowl theme, so grab your team, dress to impress, and get ready to bowl for a great cause! For just🎟️ $20 per person or $60 for a team of four, participants will enjoy two games and shoe rental, all while helping to support the MCSPCA?s vital programs and shelter services. ‼️Pre-registration is required.‼️ Can?t bowl? Sponsor a lane! For only $100, your name (or business) will be spotlighted on one of the lanes reserved for the MC-SPCA benefit. Prizes, Raffles & More! Child's Play Indoor Playground
Parents mark your calendars for March 7th! We are debuting our new indoor soft play zone for children ages 2-5. Register for a one hour time slot and enjoy a fun afternoon of play. Community Art Project: Carnegie Arch Mosaic with Gloversville Public Library
Drop in to pick up a 4'' x 10'' tile of our community mosaic! Each participant will get one tile to embellish as they wish. The tiles will be assembled into the final mosaic and displayed in the library. Supplies will be provided during drop in hours for participants to work on their tile. Limited squares available. All participants must return their tile by end of business day on March 14th. Mosaic displayed on April 1st.

In 2014, Dan began performing his tribute to Elvis all over New England working at his craft which aims to capture the energy, passion, and vocal prowess of The King.
