Downtown Business Break at Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market
The next free business networking event, ?Downtown Business Break,? will be held on Wednesday, March 6, from 8 to 9 a.m. at Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market, 30 N Main St. Participants are asked to bring brochures to swap and their calendar of events to share as the summer and tourism seasons will begin soon. Those in attendance will also learn about what Mohawk Harvest is, some of its programs and see the local products it offers such as items from Dygert Dairy Farm. As the host site this month, Mohawk Harvest will have coffee and refreshments on hand with specialty coffee available for purchase. The idea is to have a monthly business coffee break by meeting other members of the business community, networking, and visiting a business that you may not have been in yet. The first one was held Feb. 7th at 44 Lakes Customized Gifts and Décor and about 30 people from Downtown Gloversville, Johnstown, Caroga and Fulton County business communities attended. Everyone had a great time getting to know one another and connecting so we are doing it again.
