Kid's Saturday Yoga with Courtney Wood at Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts
Join Courtney Wood during the first week of spring to celebrate the change of seasons! Class will be Saturday, 3/23, from 10:00am-11:00am and will consist of: -A spring and Easter themed yoga practice -Spring intention setting -A mindfulness story -A self growth and/or coloring activity (age appropriate choices will be given) -A take home snack This class is open to children 3 and up.

Stained Glass Workshop: Feathers, Leaves & More with Doug Hallberg at Paul Nigra Center
Join stained glass artisan Doug Hallberg for this 5-hour intensive mega-workshop on the craft of working with stained glass! Each student will learn about the process of this timeless art form and make two stained glass feathers to take home. This workshop is for students ages 16 and older of any experience level. A lunch break will be provided - you can bring your own lunch or plan to visit one of our local restaurants. A?dvanced students are welcome to make a 12'' clear glass window hanging with bevels. Instructor Doug Hallberg is a retired NYS public school art educator (1996-2012) with an MFA from Rochester Institute of Technology. In 2012, he was awarded a New York State Enterprise grant to open Carriage House Art Studio in Oneonta, NY (2012-2018) to provide a variety of community classes, including some geared toward artists with special needs. His areas of expertise include stained glass, ceramics, sculpture and drawing. *Members receive a 20% discount. The Little Mermaid Play at Broadalbin High School
The Broadalbin-Perth Jr./Sr. High School Drama Club invites the community to join them as they venture under the sea for their production of ''The Little Mermaid,'' Thursday, March 21 through Sunday, March 24 in the Margaret Robin Blowers Auditorium. Showtimes are 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are on sale now, with reserved and general seating options available.
