Give the gift of magic and literacy this Christmas! Treat your child to breakfast with their favorite characters at the Princesses and Heroes Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, January 11 at the Horace J Inman Senior Center?????? Make memories while supporting Dolly Parton's Imagination Library --- helping bring books to local children through the United Way of the Greater Capital Region.? Amsterdam's Soupfest
Join us for the City of Amsterdam's SOUPFEST This event will take place at various bars and restaurants throughout the entire city! We encourage all city restaurants to participate by preparing a soup to taste and also providing entertainment or other specials to entice patrons to come to your establishment! PARTICIPANTS: Pay $1 for 3oz soup samples at each location and vote at the end for your favorite soup. The winner will receive a TROPHY for the MOST UNIQUE and BEST SOUP IN THE CITY! Pick up a Soup Guide at any location with a list of all soups, entertainment, specials and a map of participating locations. Use the back entrance of JHS by the pool/bus loop and sign in with a school attendant ? The program will not run when school is not in session or if campus is closed due to inclement weather ? Swim program will not operate on the following Saturdays: 12/28, 2/15, and 2/22 ? Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Toddlers and younger must wear swimming diapers in the pool. You are allowed to bring in your own swimming aides (swimmies and other devices that are intended to help you stay afloat and swim). Pool floats are prohibited.
