Haunted History Walking Tour with Johnstown Historical Society
TICKETS GO ON SALE SEPTEMBER 1st Join the Johnstown Historical Society on a walk through Johnstown where we will show you the sites and scenes of murder, mayhem, and mystery and hear the tales of said happenings. Perhaps even bear witness to supernatural phenomena that has been known to occur on some of these sites! Take a rest at James Burk's Inn for refreshments and learn about the tavern and it's known hauntings. . This tour is $15 per person plus processing fees and requires advanced ticket purchase for a specific tour time. Tickets may be purchased online only through our Eventbrite link once ticket sales have launched on September 1st. Tickets are not refundable. You may not change your tour time once tickets have been purchased. If you are unable to attend after having purchased your tickets your purchase will be considered a donation to the Johnstown Historical Society. You are however welcome to transfer your tickets to someone else who can attend in your absence. No walk on tickets will be sold the day of the event. . Tours will be available at: 5:30pm 6pm 6:30pm 7pm 7:30pm 8pm . Please note that all ticket holders will be required to walk long distances up and down hills. Those who have electric mobility devices are welcome to join us if it is capable of outdoor sidewalk and street travel although users may not be able to bring it into the tavern as it is a 1790s building and not accessible. The Glove Theatre's 518 Concert Series Presents: Rusticator
The Glove Theatre?s 518 Concert Series proudly presents - RUSTICATOR. Rusticator is an acoustic band with an Americana spirit. Stripped back drums and an upright bass lend a woody backbeat, while steady acoustic guitar supports jazz-inflected fiddle playing and the group?s three-part harmonies. Their eclectic yet accessible live sets include everything from the Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan to Ray Charles and Van Morrison alongside their well-crafted original songs. They have been entertaining audiences in the Capital Region since 2013. Featuring two music teachers, a minister / brewmaster (Wolf Hollow) and a regional philanthropy officer, Rusticator is a great example of how to turn your side hustle into something special. The band has self-released three albums of original music, plus their latest EP ?Let It Run? released in January 2025. Rusticator has been featured at the Fresh Grass Festival, Saratoga's First Night, the Freedom Park Concert Series, and multiple appearances at some of the Albany area's finest brew pubs and eateries. They were nominated for Americana Artist of the year at the 2022 Eddie Awards. According to David Malachowski of the Times Union, Rusticator's debut album Waiting for the Dawn ''makes a big splash with this wonderful collection of songs, so seek this record out, as well as their live shows.
