2026 Nigra Arts Center NYS Summer Art Show
The Paul Nigra Center for Creative arts Presents it's 11th annual New York State summer Art Show, celebrating the work of artists from across New York. This exhibition includes over 120 pieces in a variety of media by more than 60 New York Artists.

Join us for our traditional Story Time, which will explore a different theme each session, with an accompanying activity or craft.
America 250 Exhibit Opening Reception at Schine Memorial Hall
Memorial Hall Cultural & Arts Center Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is located in Historic Schine Memorial Hall in downtown Gloversville. The museum space is on the third floor. This space was renovated in part from the Gloversville DRI grant. Our mission is to celebrate and inspire creativity by fostering cultural enrichment through education, exhibitions, performances, classes, and events. Our ?MHCA Celebrates America 250? exhibit opening reception is Thursday, July 2nd from 4-7pm. See the enclosed flyer for the July schedule. The exhibit will be open on other select dates later in July and through August with plans for a local historical lecture series. This exhibit will include:  Information and history of America?s founding documents from prominent local historian, Don Williams. Also, highlighted, Don Williams has shared information about local revolutionary hero, Nick Stoner.  Patriotic art from Jack Horning, local iconic artist, will be displayed.  Local Patriotic Photos taken by photo journalist, Bill Trojan, will be highlighted.  A section of the exhibit will focus on Elizabeth Cady Stanton and the suffrage movement. Sandra Maceyka has shared her memorabilia for this exhibit.  A salute to Local Veterans with pictures and memorabilia, from Tony Ferraro will be highlighted.  Patriotic quilts and an 8 foot leather flag must be seen! Quilts on display created by Kathy Oughton, Tina Reeves and Mary Jane White. On Tuesday July 14th @ 6pm, Fulton County Historian, Samantha Hall Saladino will present Road to Revolution: Exploring the People, Places, and Events of Tryon Countyin the screening room. This class will focus on elongating muscles, developing stability and flexibility, and promoting a sense of spaciousness within. Program of events. Flag raising - Councilman-at-large William A. Rowback Jr. Pledge of Allegiance - Led by Mayor Gary J. Antonucci. Signing of the National Anthem performed by Michael Maricondi of Trust Your Gut Productions. Welcome remarks - Mayor Gary J. Antonucci.
