2026 Nigra Arts Center NYS Summer Art Show
The Paul Nigra Center for Creative arts Presents it's 11th annual New York State summer Art Show, celebrating the work of artists from across New York. This exhibition includes over 120 pieces in a variety of media by more than 60 New York Artists.
Simply Yoga By Colleen at Purple Glass Healing Arts
These classes are wellness-based, staying true to the tradition of Viniyoga. Class instruction is focused on using movement and breath to reduce muscle tension and stress, while strengthening weaknesses, bringing both balance and self-awareness to the participant. Individual modifications will be made as needed for participants in each class.

This session will highlight what to expect after diagnosis and outline practical next steps for planning care, accessing resources, and building support. Presented by: Gwen Rowland, LCSW & Christina Vendetti, LMSW 12:00 - 1:00 PM: Lunch & Activity 1:00 - 2:00 PM: Homecare in Focus: Real Stories, Support, and What to Expect Caring for someone living with Alzheimer's disease often includes deciding when to accept additional support. This panel will share real-life experiences and practical guidance on bringing home care services into the home. Panelists: Kym Hance, CMC, from Herzog Law Jennifer Harvey, MSW, from Touching Hearts Jody Dayter, Volunteer from Alzheimer's at Home Association 2:00 - 3:00 PM: Recognize, Reset, Recharge: Strategies to Prevent Burnout Our final session will help caregivers identify signs of stress and burnout, and provide practical strategies for managing their emotional, physical, and mental well-being. Presented by: Meagan Demento & Taylor Lee Gifford, MHC-LP This program is supported in part by a grant from the New York State Department of Health.
