Community Celebration & Fundraiser at The Fulton County Museum
Food by Lynn & Walt?s Walk Up Wagon ? Live music ? Family-friendly activities ? & more! Tickets available soon! Fulton County is fortunate to have a rich history in both its built environment and in its stories. Since 1952, the Fulton County Historical Society has been working to preserve and share that history. The experiences of deep-rooted locals, new Americans, business owners, entrepreneurs, performers, builders, artists, innovators, working-class families, farmers, and other residents ? all the threads that make up the unique fabric of our community ? have been preserved and shared by the FCHS and its volunteers. Through community events, inclusive programming, exhibits, presentations, and more, the Society continues to fulfill its mission to acquire, preserve, and promote the history of Fulton County. This work is made possible by our incredible volunteers and generous supporters. Join us in celebrating this history and be a part of what comes next! We are YOUR hometown museum! See less
Saratoga Arts Presents: Summer Wonder Open Reception
Summer Wonders showcases the artwork from students in our Kids Summer Art Program. Our summer program supports young artists from ages 6-14 through a Choice-Based/TAB (Teaching for Artistic Behavior) approach. With this philosophy we emphasize that the child is the artist and the classroom is their studio! Kids have the opportunity to explore materials and ideas that interest them, encouraging experimentation and curiosity. Come experience the artwork in person and see the amazing creativity from our students! The reception on Friday, August 15th 5:00-8:00 pm will be during Beekman Street's Friday Art Market. Hours on Saturday, August 16th are 10:00 am-2:00 pm.
