Community Swim Program at Johnstown High School
Community Swim Program: Program Starts: Saturday, December 7 Place: Johnstown High School (1 Sir Bill Circle, Johnstown, NY 12095) Days: Saturday Time: 9:00 ? 11:00 A.M. ? Use the back entrance of JHS by the pool/bus loop and sign in with a school attendant ? The program will not run when school is not in session or if campus is closed due to inclement weather ? Swim program will not operate on the following Saturdays: 12/28, 2/15, and 2/22 ? Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Toddlers and younger must wear swimming diapers in the pool. You are allowed to bring in your own swimming aides (swimmies and other devices that are intended to help you stay afloat and swim). Pool floats are prohibited. Winter Golf Tournament at Lakeside Tavern
LAKESIDE WINTER GOLF TOURNAMENT ? A ONE-OF-A-KIND EVENT FOR A GREAT CAUSE! 🏌️‍♀️🌨️ Join us at Lakeside on the Great Sacandaga Lake for a winter golf tournament like no other! We are proud to dedicate this event to our beloved chef, Thomas Taylor, whom we lost to lupus in 2021. 📅 Date: Saturday, February 8th, 2025 ⏰ Registration: 11:00 AM | Tee Off: 12:00 PM 💰 Entry Fee: $30 (Includes Buffet) 🏆 Cash Prizes for Top 3 Players! All proceeds will be donated to the Amsterdam High School Bowling Team in honor of Tom. ❄️⛳ This unique winter golf challenge features one hole, seven shots per player, and a chance to score big! A hole-in-one is worth 50 points, and the top scorers will win cash prizes based on entries. Come for the competition, stay for the fun, food, and community spirit.
