Santa's Workshop at Paul Nigra Center
All are welcome at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts' Santa's Workshop - a weekend full of holiday merriment! On Saturday and Sunday mornings, the arts center will transform into the North Pole to welcome Santa, his elves and kids of all ages for some Christmas fun. Santa's Workshop includes breakfast, hands-on crafts, cookie decorating, music, letters to Santa, holiday movies and all kinds of family fun. Santa Claus will be there to take photos with the kids and give each one a gift to take home. Don't miss the most festive family holiday event of the season! Admission is $10 per child (includes breakfast, activities, photo with Santa and gift) or $5 per adult (includes breakfast). Children 2 and under are admitted free. Holiday Open House at Johnson Hall State Historic Site
Join us for this free event as we celebrate the 18th century holiday season at Johnson Hall, complete with period decorations, music, refreshments, and living history interpretation! ~Saturday, December 7th, 5:00pm-8:30pm~ Enjoy candlelit festivities this evening at Johnson Hall as the house comes to life with living-history interpreters in the decorated rooms, live 18th century music by Liaisons Plaisantes, and mulled cider and baked treats by the fire in the Old Stone House. ~Sunday, December 8th, Noon-3:00pm~ Sunday afternoon, enjoy the beauty of the house and its décor in daylight, partake of mulled cider and baked treats in the Old Stone House, and learn more about the full swath of seasonal holidays enjoyed by the Johnson and family and their circle from site staff. *** Both Saturday night and Sunday afternoon's festivities are FREE! The Wizard of Oz Movie at The Glove Theatre

When a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy Gale and her dog, Toto, are whisked away from their house to the magical Land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, and on the way, they meet a Scarecrow who wants a brain, a Tin Man who wants a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who wants courage.
