Christmas Songs Through the Centuries presented by Johnstown Historical Society
Please join us for a celebration of international and historic Christmas music! The Fleur de Lys, a local women's vocal group, will present Christmas Songs through the Centuries at the James Burke Inn on December 17th at 2 P.M. These songs are from various countries which have been brought to America by immigrants. Included will be songs from England, Norway, Scotland, Poland, France, Wales, Germany, Scandinavia plus songs rooted in Native American and Colonial Americans heritage. Some songs will be sung in their native language. The vocal group consists of Irena Garin, Connie Chamberlain and Deb Hutchinson. They will be accompanied by guitar, mandolin and keyboard. Admission is a $5 suggested donation. Refreshments will be served.
