Property Maintenance/Facilities Worker
Helio Health – Property Maint. / Facilities Worker DF9435977 (Gloversville, NY)
General Information:
•$19.00 - $24.00 hourly, full-time.
•Main responsibilities: snow removal, grass/trash removal.
•Responsible for upkeep of Helio buildings and grounds.
•Performs maintenance and general repairs necessary to provide a safe and functional environment.
•Responds to emergency situations when requested by Supervisor of Facilities and/or Director of Facilities.
•Communicates with Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance regarding any life/safety issues along with any situations which could pose a danger to clients/staff, or agency liability.
•Perform basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.
•Takes direction from Supervisor of Facilities and/or Director of Facilities and keeps him/her informed regarding progress of work.
•Other duties as assigned by Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance or Director of Facilities.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED required.
•2+ years of building maintenance experience preferably in a commercial or healthcare setting preferred.
•Must have valid NYS driver’s license and be able to drive agency vehicle.
