1st Annual Wellness Fair at SUNY FMCC
SUNY Fulton Montgomery Community College is excited to invite you to our 1st Annual Wellness Fair on Tuesday, April 23rd from 11-2pm. The intent of the fair is to help promote and educate our students, faculty and staff members on health and wellness programs, resources and activities available in our local community. Strengthen and Lengthen Yoga with Courtney Wood Description- Join Courtney Wood for a 60 minute yoga class that combines strength-building poses and lengthening stretches. This class will focus on elongating muscles, developing stability and flexibility, and promoting a sense of spaciousness within. This class is suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners, and is sure to leave you feeling nurtured and centered. *Members receive a 20% discount. Earth Day Wildflower Watercolor with Cheryl Bielli at Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts
Wildflowers start making an appearance in the Adirondacks in April. We will choose from several photos of wildflowers taken in the Southern Adirondacks and structure a vignetted watercolor painting of one variety. Technical demonstrations and step-by-step guidance will be provided throughout the workshop. Cheryl Bielli has led several wildflower painting workshops in Fulton County and produces an annual edition of Roadside Wildflowers of the Southern Adirondacks on towels and other kitchenware. *Members receive a 20% discount.
