Check out these beautiful eggs, now is your chance to learn this very old egg decorating technique. This is Easter Egg decorating with true style! A pysanka is an Ukrainian Easter egg decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist (batik) method. Join Olya Szjka as she shows you how to use beeswax to transform a regular egg into a sensational masterpiece. You will create a beautiful piece of art to be treasured for years to come. Easter Lily Watercolor with Cheryl Bielli at Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts
Finish the ?green month series? with a watercolor painting of a single trumpet-shaped blossom in greys, greens and yellows. We?ll create a misty, out-of-focus background of green leaves broken by a crisp white Easter lily, using pale tonal shifts for subtle shadows. A tracing of the lily will be provided to start the process and step-by-step guidance will follow.
The Little Mermaid Play at Broadalbin High School
The Broadalbin-Perth Jr./Sr. High School Drama Club invites the community to join them as they venture under the sea for their production of ''The Little Mermaid,'' Thursday, March 21 through Sunday, March 24 in the Margaret Robin Blowers Auditorium. Showtimes are 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are on sale now, with reserved and general seating options available.
