Adirondack Outdoorsman Show at the Johnstown Moose
The 2024 Adirondack Outdoorsman Show will take place at the Johnstown Moose Club (109 South Comrie Ave/Rte 30A Johnstown) on Saturday February 24th (10am-6pm) & Sunday February 25th (10am-5pm). The show will be geared towards the tastes of Hunters, Fishermen and Outdoors Enthusiasts, with exhibits containing items for sale pertaining to: hunting & fishing gear/supplies, guns, archery, trapping, camping, hiking, snow shoeing, guides & charter services, taxidermy and antique hunting & fishing gear. Door prizes of gear and equipment will be given away throughout the weekend. Admission to the event is $5 for adults and $1 for Children (under 16). I Can Breathe & I Will Speak: Black History Celebration at The Glove Theatre
The Glove Theatre & I Can Breathe and I Will Speak are partnering to celebrate the rich tradition of Black History Month with a very special presentation, starring the children of our community. Join us to learn about the history of the African American community as the children portray such esteemed historical figures as Fredrick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., Ruby Bridges, Barack Obama and more. Limited dinner and a show tickets are available; homestyle dinner will include BBQ chicken thighs, baked mac and cheese, smoked turkey collard greens, and sweet potatoes! Alcohol available for purchase for attendees 21 and older with valid I.D.
