Curious about horticulture and general growing techniques?
Hydroponics allows for sustainable, year-round, soil-free food production that uses up to 10 times less water than traditional farming by recycling nutrient-rich water directly to plant roots. Ideal for small spaces, this method enables faster growth of vegetables and herbs, such as lettuce, tomatoes, and herbs, indoors or outdoors, reducing the need for pesticides.
Topics Include: Plant life cycle, planting medium, planting from seed, propagation, hydroponic growing systems and techniques, environmental requirements for proper growth, pest pressure and management, and harvest techniques.
