Annie and the Hedonists: Annie Rosen on lead vocals; Jonny Rosen on guitar and vocals; Peter Davis on clarinet, tenor guitar, piano, and vocals; Don Young on bass and vocals; Jerry Marotta on percussion/drums ?Annie is a captivating singer? Annie is a captivating singer. She delivers a lyric like it was a cherished bedtime story; as comfortable as your favorite sweater; as truthful as?well, I can?t think of anything that honest. Her band mates, Peter Davis, (guitar, banjo, clarinet, piano, vocal), Jonny Rosen, (guitar, vocal) and Don Young, (bass, guitar, vocal), are first and foremost accomplished, serious musicians. More importantly, they each have an innate yet individual sense of child-like wonder, which is evident on every track, becoming more intoxicating upon multiple listenings, (I suggest 1,000 or more). ---Joel Moss, Producer, Managra Music

Cody Fry?s music sounds like the moment in your favorite old flick when the film changes from black-and-white to technicolor in a rush of emotion. As his orchestration booms, you practically expect a Golden Age romance to unfold to the narration of his vocals. It?s warm enough to make you nostalgic, but Cody always looks forward as a singer, songwriter, composer, producer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist. It?s why he?s quietly emerged as a phenomenon with hundreds of millions of streams, hundreds of thousands of TikTok creations, and widespread acclaim. Along the way he?s picked up two GRAMMY® Award nominations, an RIAA Certified Gold record, and sold out countless shows. You can keep up with Cody?s musical journey at codyfry.com or on social media.

The 5th Annual Trust Your Gut Summer Academy proudly presents All That Glitters, a new, original musical written, composed, designed, and performed by the Youth of Fulton County! King Midas has it all. He rules the kingdom of Phrygia with his wife, Queen Marygold, and their loving daughter, Princess Cassandra. But, when the Queen suddenly passes away, Midas is driven to greed, jealously keeping his gold for himself. When Dionysus, the god of wine, revelry, and (of course) theatre, offers to grant him a wish on the eve of his daughter's 18th birthday, Midas is given the ''golden touch''...but will he use it wisely? Or will this gift become a curse? Throughout the TYGP Summer Academy, our Rising Stars have been trained in acting, singing, dance, voice and speech, vocal technique and performance, design, writing, music composition, and more. Our dedicated team of professional, working performing artists has guided them through the process of discovering their inner artist, working together, having fun, and, most importantly of all, trusting their gut! FEAST OF FRIENDS - Performing the Music of The Doors! Since 2013, Feast of Friends has stood out as one of the only continuously active Door's tribute bands in the Northeast. Unlike typical parody tribute acts, this tribute avoids costumes, wigs, and impersonations, instead honoring the unmistakable sound of The Doors with precision and passion. Blending the studio sound with the band's epic live improvisation, FOF captures the Doors' musical essence in every powerful and electrifying performance. Their memorable live shows feature all the classic hits, and many deep tracks rarely played or never performed live by The Doors. Feast of Friends has performed full live albums including the 1969 self-titled debut, Strange Days, and L.A. Woman. Frontman Joe McCausland has performed alongside original Doors guitarist Robbie Kreiger. In 2024, Feast of Friends celebrated Jim Morrison's 80th birthday at the historic Orpheum Theater, where they hosted a live video discussion with Doors drummer, John Densmore and the music industry's first rock music critic, Richard Goldstein (Village Voice) as they revisited the renowned 1969 PBS Soundstage interview and performance with The Doors. Experience the unparalleled live energy of Feast of Friends for the ultimate tribute to Jim Morrison and The Doors. The time to hesitate is through - don't miss this amazing experience. The Glove Theatre welcomes Dead Man?s Waltz ? Friday, September 12th! Interweaving the classic songs and jams of The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band and The Band, Dead Man's Waltz is an all-star collective from the Northeast festival scene. Dead Man's Waltz features top-notch musicianship and offers a refreshing twist to the music of three legendary and iconic bands. While staying true to the spirit of the music, the band members put their own dynamic spin on a vast catalog of beloved songs that are now part of the new American song book. At its core, DMW is a celebration of the long standing tradition of crossover between The Dead, The Allmans and The Band, culminating with the legendary 1973 Summer Jam Music Festival in Watkin's Glenn, NY where the three bands performed together. DMW's arrangements are experiments, as they easily flow from the familiar to the obscure, moving from standards like ''Jessica'' into ''Going Down The Road Feeling Bad'' into ''Don't Do It'' or ''Up On Cripple Creek'' into ''They Love Each Other'' into ''Midnight Rider''. The band always keeps it fresh with new and unexpected arrangements and improvisations, while engaging fans in the free-spirited party and colorful, close-knit community surrounding their shows. With 2 drummers, DMW's line-up mirrors those of both The Dead and The Allmans as well as later line-ups of The Band. Dead Man's Waltz features the all-star lineup of ''Rev'' Tor Krautter on guitar and vocals, Tom Major on drums, Parker McQueeney on keys and vocals, Wesley Childers on guitar and vocals, Jeff Prescott on drums and vocals, and Brian O'Connell on bass and vocals. Each hail from a unique musical background and adds their own personal style, influence and character to the mix (which is exactly what the music calls for). All ages are welcome! Must be 21+ to purchase/drink adult beverages.
Due to the weather forecast, we are changing the date to Saturday, SEPTEMBER 13. Registration will start at 9am to 11:30. The show starts at noon. Trophies will be awarded at 3:30. Hope to see everyone there!

The 518 Concert Series welcomes Luke Pavlus back to The Glove. Luke is an incredibly promising up-and-coming singer/songwriter from right here in Gloversville! Luke is no stranger to The Glove Mainstage, having performed here since he was a kid. Luke performed at The Glove last January ? and received such a great response, we asked him to come back!!! High Vibrations Media said this about Luke?s last Glove show: ?Luke Pavlus delivered an unforgettable performance at The Glove Theatre in Gloversville, New York. As a hometown artist, watching Luke take the big stage in front of friends, family, and an adoring crowd was nothing short of magical. The most heartwarming part of the night? Hearing his father proudly cheering him on throughout the show?it was a beautiful, uplifting moment that made the entire evening feel extra special. Luke is a true triple threat: a gifted songwriter, a powerful vocalist, and an exceptionally talented guitarist. But what makes him truly captivating is his infectious energy and charisma. His smile alone could light up even the darkest room, and it was clear he was in his element, sharing his passion for music with the audience. The setlist was simply phenomenal. Luke showcased his versatility, seamlessly transitioning between acoustic and electric guitars. A standout moment for me was his incredible rendition of REO Speedwagon?s Don?t Let Him Go, complete with live looping on the acoustic?an absolute treat for an REO fan like me. He even snuck in a bit of Steely Dan, in yet another touching moment when he performed a bit of Peg and sang about his big debut, and let me tell you, Luke, it looked so good on you. His original songs, like Gloomy Day and Dandelion Girl?the latter written for his beautiful girlfriend (sorry, ladies, he?s taken!)?highlighted his incredible songwriting talent and ability to connect deeply with his audience. The entire evening was a testament to Luke?s artistry and radiant personality. Watching him on stage was an absolute joy, and he made everyone in that room incredibly proud. If you get the chance to see Luke Pavlus perform now, don?t miss it?because it won?t be long before he?s selling out arenas.? We agree with Penny ? Luke is going places ? and we are so happy to have him perform at The Glove! Be sure to catch this show! All ages welcome! 21+ to drink with valid I.D.

Honorary Committee tickets are still available. What is the ?Foundation Experience?? The Foundation was formed in 1811 in response to the growing temperance movement in Saratoga during that time. The town placed a ban on gambling, drinking, and dance, resulting in the suffering of the local arts and culture. Simultaneously, Gideon Putnam began developing Congress Hall Hotel, where arts patrons could congregate in secret and indulge in forbidden activities and culture, while regular hotel business carried on around and above them. The Foundation held hidden performances, drinking, dances, card games, circus acts, and more ? all while its members worked covertly towards public acceptance of artistic recreation. Eventually Congress Hall was demolished. However ? the Saratoga Arts building now sits on Congress Hall?s footprint, and so The Foundation lives on? In an effort to subvert what?s come to be expected from a typical gala, Saratoga Arts? Foundation events offer guests something different. Our Foundation events include all the familiar features: food, libation, and music while inviting the audience to engage in entertainment in new and unexpected ways ? a kind of ?Experiential Art?? with very few details being shared prior. The Foundation aims to push boundaries in our creative community and surprise our patrons with innovative artistic experiences. See less Saratoga Springs, New York

The 518 Concert series has a treat for you ? The Alec Lewis Group! The ALG sports a fresh mix of contemporary funk influences from Cory Wong to Kruangbin, fused with guitar-driven classic rock and blues elements drawn from the likes of Dire Straits and David Gilmour, all topped with a modern pop sensibility and vocal stylings that firmly root the group and its sonic blueprint in our modern musical DNA. According to front man, Alec Lewis in a recent An Xperience Interview ? by Liam Sweeny: ?Our influences are fairly specific. And I frequently reference these influences as a sort of north star for our band while writing new material. I find that this helps maintain a consistency across our music and gives our repertoire a succinct and identifiable blueprint. I have three main inspirations musically for this band: Cory Wong and the Vulfpeck universe, Dire Straits, and Steely Dan (likely in that order). I believe our music certainly is an extension of these artists. We have high energy funk grooves inspired by Cory Wong, Vulpeck and The Fearless Flyers. We have mid tempo, minor key bluesy tunes that I aim to remind people of Mark Knopfler with his kind of finger picking style. And I think the Steely Dan influence is not so direct in our music, sonically, but I don?t think people are surprised by the fact that Steely Dan is one of my favorite bands. We are a relatively new band, having played our very first show in February 2024. And we are releasing our first studio project very soon on 2/7/2025. It will be a four song EP titled Don?t Cross Me. Being a sound engineer myself, I take recording very seriously. I have music under my own name as a ?solo artist,? this will be the first official release of The Alec Lewis Group as a band and separate project. And rightfully so this was a big group effort. Drums recorded at The Jive Hive and built up from there at my home studio. Myself and Noah worked throughout the summer and fall of this year honing in the guitar and bass parts. It is a guitar record. It is tight. It is punchy and catchy. It?s sarcastic and quirky. It?s fun and I think you?ll agree, so please give us listen come 2/7 and search for The Alec Lewis Group wherever you stream your music.? All ages welcome! Age 21+ to drink adult beverages.
