Event Description:
The Burk Inn welcomes Terry McMaster to give his presentation,  "Ethnicity, Alliance, Family and War: Scots-Irish Immigration, the Old New York Frontier and the Cherry Valley Massacre."

Terry McMaster has conducted research that centers on the settlement of the western frontier of colonial New York beginning about 1740 by Scots-Irish settlers and examines the development of that and other communities in the upper Susquehanna River watershed.

Terry McMaster is an independent historian whose research focuses on the American Revolution in the Mohawk Valley and on the settlement patterns, family connections and border warfare along colonial New York’s western frontier in the 18th century.

Light refreshments will be served. The $5 donation will benefit the Johnstown Historical Society.
