Bruce Bundock and Hongnian Zhang Solo Shows in the Regional Art Galleries of the Arkell Museum & Canajoharie Library
Award-winning artist Bruce Bundock of Kingston, NY was selected for inclusion in The Art of New York: Annual Juried Art Show in 2019 and has lived and worked in the Hudson Valley since 1979. His art is based in the realist tradition, drawing inspiration from three geographic locations: the Hudson Valley, Maine, and Cape Cod. He received his M.A. from SUNY Empire State College, and his B.F.A. from Maryland Institute College of Art.
Hongnian Zhang, of Woodstock, NY received both a Juror's Choice Award and an Award of Excellence in The Art of New York: Annual Juried Art Show in 2019. Hongnian taught oil painting in America for many years, at both the graduate program of New York Academy and the Woodstock School of Art. Recently, Mr. Zhang accepted a position as Professor of Oil Painting at Fudan University’s Shanghai Institute of Visual Art. He is currently working with other Chinese artists to establish an Association for Epic and Historical Painting. He divides his time between China and the United States.

The Museum, Regional Art Galleries, and Library are open Tues - Fri, 10 am-5 pm; Sat & Sun, noon-5 pm. The Regional Art Galleries and Library remain open until 6:30 pm on Wednesdays.
Location
The Arkell Museum & Canajoharie Library are located at 2 Erie Boulevard. The building has off street parking and is wheelchair accessible.
Fees/Admission
Free admission to the Regional Art Galleries, Museum admission free for members and children under 11; $9 adults, $6.50 seniors & students.
