DESCRIPTION:Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts\n\nStained Glass Workshop Feathers\, Leaves & more\n\nDoug Hallberg\, Instructor \nJoin stained glass artisan Doug Hallberg for this 5-hour intensive mega-workshop on the craft of working with stained glass! Each student will learn about the process of this timeless art form and make 2 stained glass feathers to take home. This workshop is for students ages 16 and older of any experience level. A lunch break will be provided - you can bring your own lunch or plan to visit one of our local restaurants.\n\nAdvanced students welcomed to make a 12" clear glass window hanging with bevels.\n\nInstructor Doug Hallberg is a retired NYS public school art educator (1996-2012) with an MFA from Rochester Institute of Technology. In 2012\, he was awarded a New York State Enterprise grant to open Carriage House Art Studio in Oneonta\, NY (2012-2018) to provide a variety of community classes\, including some geared toward artists with special needs. His areas of expertise include stained glass\, ceramics\, sculpture and drawing.\n\n*Members receive a 20% discount.
