DESCRIPTION:Drawing and Painting Studio Sessions 4 & 5: Drawing & Painting Final\n\nThursday\, February 6 & February 13\n\n4:30p-7:00p\n\nGrand Gallery\n\nCost*: $125 for the full 5-part class\, $50 for double class-- Pre-registration required\, materials not included\n\nThis multi-session studio class will help you improve your skills in drawing and painting. The series of open-studio art classes will give you the chance to practice with various materials and build up your skills. We will work with graphite\, charcoal and acrylic to complete multiple fine-art compositions. Each class will begin with a group critique of the prior artwork\; then we will go into the lesson of the next material and begin working on our composition.\n\nWeek 4- Group Critique of Week 3 composition\n\nCreate a composition with a medium of choice between Graphite & Ink\, Charcoal & Chalk Pastel\, and Acrylic Paint\, using all skills we have learned throughout the class\, highlighting shape\, tone/color\, shading\, etc.\n\nWeek 5- Finishing Final Composition\, Final Critique\n\nTo reduce the cost of the class\, students will be required to purchase materials. A class materials list is provided.\n\nYou can either sign up for a double session of Weeks 4 & 5 (2/6 & 2/13)\, or sign up for the entire series every Thursday from 1/16-2/13.\n\n*Members receive a 20% discount. Don't forget to enter the promotional code in the registration window! Please be aware that no refunds or exchanges will be issued for classes or events unless it is canceled by the Nigra Arts Center.
