This multi-session studio class will help you improve your skills in drawing and painting. The series of open-studio art classes will give you the chance to practice with various materials and build up your skills. We will work with graphite\, charcoal and acrylic to complete multiple fine-art compositions. Each class will begin with a group critique of the prior artwork\; then we will go into the lesson of the next material and begin working on our composition.
\n\nWeek 3- \;Group Critique of Week 2 composition
\n\nColor wheel\, color themes\, color scales\, tinting and shading.
\n\nAcrylic painting from observation.
\n\nTo reduce the cost of the class\, students will be required to purchase materials. A class materials list is provided.
\n\nYou can either sign up for a single session\, or sign up for the entire series every Thursday from 1/16-2/13.
