DESCRIPTION:October 21\, 2024 \n\n \n\nFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:\n\n \n\nAmsterdam's Halloween Parade Sponsored by Chad Majewski- Real Estate\n\n \n\nAmsterdam\, NY: The City of Amsterdam is pleased to announce we will be hosting our Annual Halloween Parade sponsored by Chad Majewski- Real Estate on Saturday\, October 26th.  The Parade will begin at 1pm on Guy Park Avenue.\n\n \n\nEvery year thousands of people come out to enjoy our annual Halloween Parade that runs down historic Guy Park Avenue. Participants have created floats\, will be dressing up in costume and passing out candy to all bystanders. We will also have the award-winning Amsterdam Marching Rams closing out the parade.  \n\n \n\nChad Majewski stated "The Amsterdam Halloween Parade was something my generation looked forward to each year as a kid.  I'm amazed how the parade has grown over the decades and very thankful for the opportunity to help keep the tradition alive and strong. Thank you to our hard working recreation department for always making sure the parade runs smooth and safe. On behalf of everyone at Chad Majewski Real Estate we wish you a safe and Happy Halloween.  \n\n \n\nBefore the parade kicks off\, Chad Majewski- Real Estate will be holding a block party on the corner of McFarlan Ave and Guy Park Ave. Starting at 11:30am you can enjoy free popcorn\, cotton candy and more. Then watch Amsterdam's longest standing and most popular Halloween traditions and celebrations.\n\n \n\nAmsterdam Mayor Mike Cinquanti said\, "The Halloween parade is my favorite walk of the year!
