SUMMARY:Annual Spring Hawk Watch & Hawk Identification Workshop at Landis Arboretum
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this annual nature event at the Arboretum\, a day observing hawks in migration over the Schoharie Valley. We will gather at the Meeting House and hope to see bald eagles\, sharp-shinned hawks\, osprey\, and the longest travelers\, broad-winged hawks - among other raptors on the move. The Watch begins at 10:00 AM and continues all day until 4:00 PM - drop in when you can and stay as long as you like. A Hawk Identification Workshop will be held at 2:00 PM. Come for a short while or the whole day. Partial funding for this class provided through a grant from Stewart's Shops Holiday Match Program.\n\nInstructor: George Steele\, nature educator\n\nLocation: The Nicholas J.
